Previous Involvement in SoWH: I am currently working the SoWH to review CAPP OB cases. Prior to that, I worked for about 5 years on the CAPP OB committee to design the initial CAPP courses before stepping down to focus on starting a family.

In my time as a Women’s Health Physical Therapist, I have seen our amazing leadership in the Section make great strides to stay true to the original foundation of the Section while growing with the times. I look forward to working on the PPSIG to help promote the practice of physical therapy for patients during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. This should become an area where referral to PT is the norm and not the exception. Change is coming and I hope that I can help that happen!
