Lori has been actively dedicating her time and efforts to Section on Women’s Health since 2010 primarily in the Section’s education component as a course lab assistant, instructor, committee member, committee assistant chair, and Director of Education. In her role as Director of Education, Lori has been a key player in the expansion of the education initiatives of the Section and the domestic and international growth of the Section’s course offerings. Lori will conclude her Director of Education term when she will take oath of office at the SOWH General Business Meeting in New Orleans, LA in February 2018.

“The SOWH is growing and changing, expanding our identity, which is advancing our collective specialty. I would love the opportunity to continue to lead the SOWH with passion, strength and excitement for it’s current growth and expansion of membership benefits, global involvement, education, practice, and research,” says Lori.

Lori is currently an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Lynchburg College in Virginia, United States, primarily instructing: Pelvic Health, Administration in Physical Therapy, Student Professional Involvement, Professional Practice, and Comprehensive Review. She manages a pro bono clinical practice in the area of women’s health/pelvic health through a grant funded at Lynchburg College. The Section on Women’s Health Board of Directors is pleased that Lori has accepted this appointment and know she will represent the Section well and will contribute much to our community and our mission.
