McLean, Va. The Section on Women’s Health–a professional association of nearly 3,000 physical therapists devoted to improving women’s and men’s health globally–has elected the following four board volunteers to serve three-year terms from 2017 to 2020:
Secretary: Amy Pannullo, PT, DPT, MA, WCS, ATC, CLT
Director of Programming: Carina Siracusa, PT, DPT, WCS
Director of Financial Development: Alexandra Hill, PT, DPT, CLT
Nominating Committee Member: Karen Snowden, PT, DPT, WCS
“We are thrilled we had such a competitive slate of outstanding candidates dedicated to serving the Section,” says SOWH President Patricia Wolfe, PT. “The new board leaders add important experience and skills at the very time we are updating our strategic plan and preparing for an exciting future of expanded physical therapy patient care. We thank the Nominating Committee, as well as the nominees, for their hard work. The Section is fortunate to have a cadre of such high-level volunteers to tap for other key leadership opportunities.”
New board leaders will be sworn into their positions at the 2017 SOWH Business Meeting in February in San Antonio, Texas. The Section is affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association.
The Section on Women’s Health-American Physical Therapy Association (SOWH) is a professional membership association of nearly 3,000 physical therapists treating patients across the life span and around the globe. Members provide the latest evidence-based physical therapy services to everyone from young athletes and childbearing women to peri-menopausal mothers and men with pelvic health complications.
